Description2 full-time positions for developers with the following skills: - Knowledge of and Intermediate level experience in programming and analysis; - Knowledge of and experience with coding java web applications; - Advanced Knowledge of and experience with programming in the J2EE environment using J2EE development tools similar to RSA, RAD, and Eclipse Knowledge of and experience with developing in an IBM Web Sphere environment and experience setting up, configuring and working within a Web Sphere Application Development environment ; - Knowledge of and experience with working with DB2 - Experience with structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications; - Experience with working in a Linux or Unix equivalent environment;

Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Intermediate level experience in programming and analysis. (Minimum 7 years)
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience coding Java web applications.
  • Experience and advanced knowledge in programming in the J2EE environment using J2EE development tools similar to RSA, RAD, and Eclipse. (Minimum 5 years)
  • Experience developing in an IBM WebSphere environment and experience setting up, configuring and working within a WebSphere Application Development environment. (Minimum 2 years)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years working with DB2.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years working in a Linux or Unix equivalent environment.
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications. (Minimum 5 years)
  • Must have a minimum Bachelor's degree / diploma in Engineering, Computing Science or related field.
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Experience creating estimates for application changes. (Minimum 3 years)
  • Experience creating unit test documentation. (Minimum 2 years)
  • Experience with gathering requirements. (Minimum 2 years)
  • Experience working in a provincial government environment.
  • Is adept in managing change.
  • Experience with Ajax and Ajax frameworks such as JQuery, prototype, YUI.
  • Experience with JQuery.
