Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • 8 years demonstrataed experience as a Project Manager initiating, planning, controlling and closing several projects.
  • 5 years demonstrated experience as a Project Manager managing a program of projects in a public sector environment.
  • Ability to travel between Calgary and Edmonton offices, as required.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for support of business members and the Project Support Team during planning and implementation.
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Related degree or diploma. (Minimum 2 year program)
  • Proof of Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation in good standing. (4 years as a PMP)
  • In the last 15 months, demonstrated significant and recent experience as a project manager providing financial reporting on a program of projects to a public sector Program Support Office and Corporate financial services office.
  • 5 years experience performing estimation exercises in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • 3 years experience in developing business processes and requirements on complex projects.
  • 5 years experience identifying, analyzing, and managing project risks and issues on large, complex IT/business projects.
  • 5 years experience functioning on an individual basis and in a team/group environment.
  • 2 years experience incorporating organizational change management methodologies into project planning and implementation processes.
  • 3 years experience using strong human resource skills for negotiations and effective consensus building.
  • 2 years experience working concurrently in legacy and new IT/business service delivery.
  • 3 years experience establishing and maintaining professional relationships with high level decision makers within an organization.
  • 8 years demonstrated experience in giving presentations, facilitating meetings, interviewing, probing and influencing others.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience as a Project Manager working on a program of projects lead by the judiciary.
