Project DescriptionReplacement of three mainframe systems, business application development utilizing an application development environment (and framework) based on the Microsoft .NET platform. 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience developing business applications on the Microsoft .NET platform with preference given to experience working with .NET 4.0, C#, ASP.NET, WCP, SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 and IIS7.
  • Ability to work on-site and full-time (core hours 8am-5pm) in Regina.
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Experience developing and deplying large (n-tier) business systems based on the Microsoft .NET platform, including experiences with web-based, client-based, and batch-based applications.
  • Experience using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and Team Foundation Server 2010.
  • Experience with Reporting (e.g., MS SQL Reports, Cognos, Active Reports, Crystal Reports, etc.) and Business Intelligence (MS SQL Analytics, Business Objects, BIRT, etc.)
  • Experience in code testing methods (e.g., test driven development, etc.) and tools (e.g., nUnit, nCover, Microsoft Unit Test, etc.)
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and technical implementations using Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, XML and XML schemas) and Microsoft's Windows Communication Framework.
