DescriptionThe successful candidate for this position must have experience with Domain Administration for a large scale environment using Windows 2000 or 2003 Active Driectory to manage all objects.

Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Related degree/diploma with 2-3 years industry experience. Equivalencies considered
  • Domain Administration for a large scale environment (over 1000 users) using Windows 2000 or 2003 Active Directory (MMC) to manage all objects
  • Ability to create local and global security groups and to apply permissions to access files, folders and resources on Windows Windows 2000 or 2003 servers.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Exchange 2000 or 2003 Administrator to manage email accounts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience functioning on an individual basis
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as required (approximately 1 weekend per month)
  • Experience with a problem tracking software and process work flow
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Available to start October 20, 2008
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Familiarity with the GOA IT infrastructure, business direction, strategies, shared service initiatives and applications
  • Experience with 3rd party utilities such as Script Logic Security Explorer
  • Ability to use Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 User Manager and Server Manager tools to manage users, groups, computers and servers
  • Ability to use Microsoft Exchange 5.5 Administrator to manage email accounts
  • Experience with Remedy ARS V6 or ITSM 7
  • Experience with Quest Migration Manager
  • Experience with Quest Consolidator V5.0
  • Experience with Quest ActiveRoles Server
  • Experience with scripting tools, such as Visual Basic
  • Experience with Access 2000 or 2003
  • Experience with Robocopy
  • Experience with Windows 2000 or 2003 Resource Kit
  • Experience with Remote Access software (Terminal Services, VPN, Citrix)
