DescriptionThe successful candidate for this position will have worked with Domain Administration in a large scale environment using Windows 2000 or 2003 Active Directory to manage all objects. They must have the ablility to create local and global security groups and to apply permissions to access files, folders and resources on Windows 2000 or 2003 Servers

Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Related degree/diploma with 2-3 years industry experience.  Equivalencies considered
  • 1 year experience Domain Administration for a large scale environment (over 1000 users) using Windows 2000 or 2003 Active Directory (MMC) to manage all objects
  • 1 year experience having the ability to create local and global security groups and to apply permissions to access files, folders and resources on Windows 2000 or 2003 servers.
  • 1 year experience with the ability to use Microsoft Exchange 2000 or 2003 Administrator to manage email accounts
  • 2 years familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required (Approximately 1 weekend per month)
  • 6 months experience with a problem tracking software and process workflow
  • 1 year of excellent problem solving skills
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Familiarity with the GoA IT infrastructure, business direction, strategies, shared service initiatives and applications
  • 1 year experience with 3rd party utilities such as Script Logic Security Explorer
  • Ability to use Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 User Manager and Server Manager tools to manage users, groups, computers and servers
  • Experience with Remedy ARS V6 or ITSM 7
  • Experience with Quest Migration Manager
  • Experience with Quest Consolidator V5.0
  • Experience with Quest Active Roles Server
  • Experience with scripting tools, such as Visual Basic
  • Experience with Access 2000 or 2003
  • Experience with Robocopy
  • Experience with Windows 2000 or 2003 Resource Kit
  • Experience with Remote Access software (Terminal Services, VPN, Citrix)
